Kathleen A. Peterson '54 Scholarship

“This scholarship was established by family in memory of Kathleen A. Peterson ’54 (d. 1999) for the purpose of providing an annual scholarship for a student majoring in Education at SUNY Oswego. To qualify for this award, a student must:
a. Be a full time student enrolled in the School of Education.
b. Apply in the student’s sophomore or junior year (completed 27-86 credits, including transfer credits, by end of this winter session)
c. Maintain a minimum 3.00 SUNY Oswego cumulative GPA
d. Submit an essay on why the student wants to be a teacher.
e. Preference will be given to a student who demonstrates a history of volunteerism.”
