Sandra Kelly Mincher '65 Memorial Scholarship

The Sandra Kelly Mincher ’65 Memorial Endowed Scholarship was established by John Mincher, Emeritus Professor of Theatre, in memory of his wife, Sandy. As a student, Sandy was active in theatre and the Blackfriars student organization. She was also a member of Alpha Psi Omega, the Theater honor society. The scholarship will honor Sandy’s career as an educator and provide support to a student interested in pursuing a career in educational or professional theatre.

To qualify for this award, a student must:
a. Be a matriculated student in good academic standing.
b. Have a stated interest in pursuing educational or professional theatre as a career.
c. Be active in the Theatre department.
d. Preference will be given to Theatre majors or minors, or related minors, such as expressive arts therapy, live events, etc.
e. Apply in freshman, sophomore or junior year to receive the award the following academic year.
f. The student will submit an essay on his/her career goals in professional or educational theatre.
