Michael J. Caldwell ’70 Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Michael J. Caldwell ’70, a lifelong educator, who was the first person in his family to go to college. His hope is to be able to better other people’s lives by helping them to attain a college education. The scholarship is for a deserving student who is involved in extracurricular or volunteer activities and who lives on campus. To qualify for this award, a student must:
a. Be a freshman, sophomore or junior at time of application, (having completed 12-86 credits, including transfer).
b. Have a minimum 2.5 GPA.
c. Have a declared major within the School of Business, School of Education or one of the hard sciences.
d. Have financial need.
e. Be from one of the following areas: Capital District, Central New York, Northern New York or Western New York.
f. Be living on campus when receiving the award.
g. Be involved in extracurricular activities.
