Robert Christmann '67 Sigma Tau Chi Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Robert W. Christmann ‘67 in recognition of, and with the deepest appreciation to, SUNY Oswego, for its great influence on both his professional and personal life. This scholarship is intended to inspire education majors to pursue an educational leadership career. This scholarship is also in honor of Sigma Tau Chi, of which Bob was a member for four years and which provided intense and positive life-long friendships. To qualify for this award, a student must:
a. Apply during sophomore or junior year (having completed 26-86 credits, including transfer)
b. Have a minimum cumulative SUNY Oswego GPA of 2.75 at the time of application
c. Have documented financial need
d. Be a member of a recognized Greek social organization that is in good standing on campus
e. Submit a statement which indicates your career goals and the positive effects of being a member of a Greek organization.
f. Be in good standing with both the College and Greek Life.
Preference given to a full-time matriculated student majoring in a teacher-certification degree program within the School of Education.
