John Kehoe ’24 and Anne Kehoe Hallock ’27 Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Peggy Kehoe Buchwach in memory of her father, John Kehoe, Class of 1924, and her aunt, Anne Kehoe Hallock, Class of 1927. Both John and Anne were natives of Oswego, N.Y. John taught mechanical drawing and then high school history in New Jersey. Anne was a third grade elementary school teacher in New Jersey. The scholarship was established in recognition of, and with the deepest appreciation to, SUNY Oswego, for its great influence on both the professional and personal lives of her father and aunt. To qualify for this award, a student must:
a. Be a full-time matriculated student in the School of Education.
b. Demonstrate promise as a future teacher, teaching at any grade level.
c. Apply in sophomore or junior year, (having completed 26-86 credits, including transfer).
d. Preference will be given to a graduate of Oswego High School. If there are no applicants from Oswego High School, preference will be given to a student from Oswego County.
