John McDermott '86 Scholarship

John McDermott ’86 established this scholarship in support of undergraduate School of Business students, with preference to students majoring in accounting. Affordable tuition along with high-quality, hands-on environment meant so much to John while a student, along with lessons learned and skills gained that helped fuel important achievements. This scholarship honors that and pays forward to the next generation. To qualify for this award, a student must:
a. Be a full-time matriculated student in the School of Business.
b. Preference is for scholarship to be given to accounting majors.
c. Have documented financial need.
d. Submit an essay documenting how this scholarship will assist in achieving a dream of a college education, and describing future professional plans.
Note: This scholarship is renewable.
