Bruce B. Robertson, Jr. '85 and Dr. William Quirk '85 Scholarship for First Generation Students

This scholarship, a collaboration from Bruce B. Robertson, Jr. ’85 and Dr. William Quirk ’85, was established to assist first generation students. It also signifies a great SUNY Oswego, life-long friendship, from shared experiences that started on campus -- to help our next generation fulfill their dreams of a college education. To qualify for this award, a student must:
• Be a first generation matriculated student.
• Submit an essay documenting how this scholarship will assist them in achieving their dream of a college education.
• Apply in their freshman, sophomore or junior year for an award to be received the following academic year.
• This scholarship is renewable for up to a total of 3 years if a student is in good academic standing and continues to meet all other criteria.
