Class of 1973 Spirit of Service Award

This scholarship was established by members, friends and relatives of the Class of 1973 in honor of their 50th Reunion in 2023. The scholarship supports a student with financial need that demonstrates their desire to aid others through selfless volunteer activities. To qualify for this award, a student must
a.) demonstrate current volunteer activity that supports the Oswego campus and/or the greater Oswego community,
b.) have a minimum cumulative SUNY Oswego GPA of 3.0 or greater,
c.) have demonstrated financial aid,
d.) prepare an essay describing their current volunteer activities and expressing their intention and interest to support volunteer activities post-graduation.

First preference will be given to descendants of any member of the Class of 1973, second preference will be given to a first-generation college student.
