Steve Messina ’91 Endowed Meteorology Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Steve Messina ’91 to recognize and support passionate, engaged meteorology majors, in recognition of, and with the deepest appreciation to, SUNY Oswego, for its great influence on his life. It is the first endowed scholarship for meteorology majors. To qualify for this award, a student must:
a. Be a full-time matriculated meteorology major.
b. Have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
c. Apply in sophomore or junior year, (having completed 26-86 credits, including transfer).
d. Be engaged in the department and be passionate about meteorology.
e. If there are two equally deserving candidates, a preference will be given to a student with financial need.
