Linda Syrell Tyrrell Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Linda Syrell Tyrrell to support a deserving student from Oswego County who demonstrates academic achievement and community service. Linda worked at SUNY Oswego from 1969-1994, starting in Student Services, becoming Dean of Arts and Sciences and finally Dean of Continuing education. To qualify for this award, a student must:
a. Apply in freshman, sophomore or junior year to receive the award the following year.
b. Be a resident of Oswego County
c. Demonstrate academic achievement and community service
d. Maintain a 3.0 GPA
