Professors John and Judith Belt Forever Scholarship for Technology Education and Technology Management

This scholarship was established by John and Judith Belt, professors emeriti, Department of Technology with more than 60 years of combined service following a shared philosophy that included education for all, social justice for humanity and the environment, critical thinking and civic awareness, sustainable practices supporting a global citizenship, mentorship for best educational practices. The purpose of this scholarship is to support Technology Education and Technology Management majors with financial need. To qualify for this award, a student must:
a. Be a matriculated in Technology Education or Technology Management
b. Have earned 27+ credits to receive the award the corresponding Fall
c. Demonstrate financial need
d. Maintain a 2.75 cumulative GPA and 3.0 GPA in the major
e. Submit a personal statement stressing how this award will assist in achieving educational goals
f. Submit letters of recommendations from two faculty members – with at least one coming from the Department of Technology
