Ann & Julius Sholtes Memorial Scholarship

This fund was established by Tucker Sholtes ’15 and family in memory of Ann & Julius Sholtes. Ann was a Registered Nurse who obtained her degree from Lenox Hill Hospital. She enjoyed all aspects of nursing and spent the majority of her career at Wilson Hospital in Johnson City, New York. Julius served in the Army, graduated from Harpur College SUNY and worked in Data Processing at IBM Federal Systems in Owego, New York. Julius was also a proud member of IBM’s Quarter Century Club. Ann & Julius were avid readers and strong supporters of higher education. To qualify for this scholarship, a student must
a.) be a full-time matriculated student with any major in the School of Business
b.) have a minimum gpa of 3.0
c.) apply in sophomore or junior year to receive the award in the subsequent year
d.) be a well rounded student who is involved in extracurricular activities such as sports, committees, volunteerism, etc.
e.) preference will be given to students with financial need.
