Anthony S. and Katherine Benedict Sgarlata '65 Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Anthony S. and Katherine Benedict Sgarlata ’65 for a deserving student with financial need from Onondaga County who plans to teach at the elementary, secondary or collegiate level. To qualify for this award, a student must:
a. Be a resident of Onondaga County
b. Be a full-time student enrolled in the School of Education who plans to be a teacher at the elementary, secondary or collegiate level.
c. Have a minimum 3.00 GPA
d. Have demonstrated financial need
e. Apply in freshman, sophomore or junior year
f. Complete a 100-word concise essay on why the student believes education and graduation from SUNY Oswego is of value.
