Tom Winiarski Scholarship

Tom Winiarski, class of 1991, established this scholarship to “light the path to wisdom” and “empower” all future generation(s) of Communication Studies majors at SUNY Oswego. To qualify for this award, a student must:
a. Be a full-time matriculated student having a declared major in the Communication Studies department – these majors include broadcasting and mass communication, communication and social interaction, journalism, and public relations.
b. Apply during sophomore or junior year (having completed 26-86 credits, including transfer)
c. Have a minimum cumulative SUNY Oswego GPA of 3.0 at the time of application.
d. Submit a 200-word essay describing interest(s) and experience(s) related to communications and addressing your passion for this career choice.
Note: This scholarship is renewable.
