Nick and Ellie Pucciariello '62 Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Eleanor Kaminski Pucciariello ‘62 and Nicholas Pucciariello ’62. They married in September, 1959, and graduated in May 1962. Nick began his career as a high school math teacher, and Elle’s appointment was as a sixth grade teacher in Glen Cove’s new team teaching program. As a team, Nick and Elle conducted the classes in the SAT and GED programs and also taught classes in the Glen Cove High School diploma program. To qualify for this award, a student must:
a. Be a full-time matriculated student in the School of Education pursuing a career in teaching (elementary or secondary).
b. Demonstrate financial need.
c. Apply in sophomore or junior year to receive the award the following academic year.
