Musco Family Scholarship
This scholarship was established by Frederick D. Musco, an Industrial Arts Major of the Class of 1973, to honor his parents, Esther Olivia Butler Musco and Ralph Dominic Musco. Through their spirit and guidance, they provided the direction necessary to pursue accomplishment through higher education for their children. To qualify for this award, a student must:
a. Be a freshman, sophomore or junior student (completed 0-86credits, including transfer credits, by deadline) majoring in Technology, Technology Management, Vocational Technology or any of their successor majors in Industrial Arts / Technical Education.
b. Maintain a minimum SUNY Oswego GPA of 3.00.
c. Be a high school graduate from the Capital District region comprised of the following counties – Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga
and Schenectady.
d. Prepare a short essay of no less than 200 words describing how the student expects the award to impact their ability to develop
skills that will be used to benefit their home community.
e. Preference will be given to first generation college students if such status can be verified and noted in the applicant’s essay.
