Mazzella Family Scholarship

The Mazzella Family Scholarship was established by Michael Mazzella ‘85 to assist those with financial need by helping to provide the opportunity to attend SUNY Oswego. The STEM field is important to the Mazzella Family and they aim to inspire future STEM leaders through this support. To qualify for this award, a student must:
a. Be a Freshman, Sophomore or Junior at the time of application to receive the award the following year.
b. Have documented financial need
c. Be pursuing a degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM).
d. First preference is for the student to be a member of one of SUNY Oswego’s ALANA (African, Latino, Asian and Native American) student organizations. If no student qualifies then,
e. Second preference is the student be a first generation college student (parents did not graduate from college)
Note: This scholarship is renewable for up to a total of 3 years if a student maintains a 2.0 GPA and continues to meet all other criteria
