Mike Kite '02 Memorial Scholarship

This fund was established by friends of Mike Kite ’02, spearheaded by his sister Robin Wheeler Feane ’06, brother Wayne Wheeler II, mother Judith Wheeler-Kinch, step-father Wayne Wheeler I, close friend Jeff Knauss ’07. This scholarship supports a student studying Broadcasting and Mass Communication, as that was Mike’s major at SUNY Oswego, or a student studying Psychology with an interest in mental health, counseling or therapy. To qualify for this award, a student must:
a. Be either a Broadcasting and Mass Communication or Psychology major.
b. Apply in their Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior year, for an award to be received in the subsequent academic year.
c. Have demonstrated campus involvement and leadership.
d. Preference given to a student with demonstrated financial need.
