R. Lee Martin Award

This scholarship is presented by the Curriculum and Instruction Department in memory of Dr. R. Lee Martin (d.1973), a distinguished
member of the department for over 22 years. To qualify for this award, a student must:
a. Hold a 3.50 or better cumulative SUNY Oswego GPA at the time of selection
b. Be a childhood education major with at least 12 hours completed in education coursework
c. Submit a 250 word essay on “The importance of quality teachers in the elementary school.”
