Walter and Ellen Bird Memorial Scholarship

In support of The Path Forward campaign, this scholarship was established by Cheryl Bird ’77 to provide financial assistance to first generation students with need. Cheryl’s parents worked hard and sacrificed so that she could be the first generation to attend college. Her hope is that this scholarship would go to students with a similar backgrounds.

To qualify for this award, a student must:
a. Be a first generation college student.
b. Have demonstrated financial need.
c. Apply during their freshman, sophomore or junior year to receive the award the following academic year.

NOTE: This scholarship is renewable.
