Professor Charles A. Spector Accounting Forever Scholarship
Paul Becht established this perpetual scholarship with his family, in honor of Professor Charles A. Spector, to assist students with financial need and a declared major in Accounting.
Professor Spector was a valued mentor to Paul – and the skills he gained from that mentorship, together with the other pivotal experiences he had at SUNY Oswego formed the groundwork that allowed Paul to go on to a meaningful and rewarding professional career and personal life.
This narrative was the basis that inspired Paul to give back to SUNY Oswego and the Accounting Department, in particular, in the form of this fund to help our next generation of students fulfill their dreams of a college education, allowing more time for hands-on involvement in extracurricular activities and community service.
