Class of 1937 Scholarship

This award, sponsored by The Oswego Alumni Association, is named in honor of the class that will forever be remembered for the generous gift they presented to this institution at their 50th college reunion. Survivors of world recession and world wars, the Class of 1937 never lost sight of their desire to make life a little better for those who followed. To qualify for this prestigious award, a student must:
a. Be a sophomore or junior (completed 27–86 credits, including transfer credits, by deadline) during the spring semester
b. Maintain a 3.00 or better cumulative SUNY Oswego GPA
c. In a well-organized 350 word essay (composed expressly for this year’s competition), compare the life of an Oswego student today with that of the Class of 1937.
