Rewarding Excellence Amongst College Honors (R.E.A.C.H.) Scholarship

The women of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and the men of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. gave back to the college community in honor of the 2002 Return to OZ II Reunion. To qualify for this award, a student must: a. Be a sophomore or junior (completed 27–86 credits, including transfer credits, by deadline), b. Maintain a minimum SUNY Oswego GPA of 2.80, c. Submit an essay demonstrating how the student has overcome a disadvantage or other impediment to succeed in higher education or Submit an essay demonstrating how the student has contributed to the diversity of the student body in the student’s major or a specific program/club he/she is involved with.
