Joe Fetcho ’93 Scholarship
“Joe Fetcho ’93 established this award in perpetual support of undergraduate accounting students. Affordable tuition meant so much for Joe and his family – and, the lessons he learned, and the skills he gained from SUNY Oswego experiences have helped fuel important professional achievements. This sentiment provided the lead, which Joe wants to pay forward, in the form of this fund – “lighting the path to wisdom” by augmenting value and involvement for our next generation(s).
Two students will receive the scholarship annually. To qualify for this award, a student must:
Be a full-time student matriculated student in Accounting.
Demonstrate financial need.
Have documented community service.
Apply in the second semester of sophomore year to receive the award for the corresponding fall.
Submit a 200-word essay describing experience(s) related to accounting, as well as community service experience(s) or interest(s).
Recipients must register to receive an alumni mentor in combination with receiving this award.
NOTE: This scholarship is renewable for a total of 4 award years, including if the student continues with Graduate studies in Accounting – is in good academic standing, and continues to meet the criteria. "
