Armand-Paul Family Scholarship
This scholarship, sponsored by Newton Paul ‘97 & ’99, Friends and Associates, is a tribute to his family (God, Andre Sr., Marie, Mozart, Andre Jr., and Marcus) for the love and support they provided him in obtaining his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, minor in International Studies, and master’s degree in Human Services/Counseling. A student’s leadership ability is one of the major criteria in the selection process. Qualified applicants will also:
a. Be individuals with financial hardships and submit a statement detailing financial situation
b. Be of freshman, sophomore or junior status (completed 0–86 credits, including transfer credits, by deadline) during spring semester
c. Maintain a 2.50 or better cumulative SUNY Oswego GPA
d. Submit an essay on someone who supported you up to this point in time in your education and what that means to you
e. Submit two references

- Reference: A reference is required from someone who can support your leadership abilities. Please notify the reference that he/she will receive an email from the system and ask that this individual addresses your leadership abilities on on the reference form.
- 2nd Reference: A second reference is required from someone who can support your academic abilities. Please notify your 2nd reference that he/she will receive an email from the system and ask that this individual addresses your academic performance on the reference form.
