Ted '72 and Jane Friedlander '71 Science Education Scholarship for Military and First Responders

This scholarship was established by Ted ’72 and Jane Friedlander Jenny ’71 to recognize and financially assist a student committed to teaching science at the middle school or high school level, grades 7-12 who is currently active in the military, a veteran, a first-responder, or whose family is considered military or first-responders. To qualify for this award, a student must:
a. Be an Adolescent Education Major with a concentration in the sciences
b. Maintain a 3.0 SUNY Oswego GPA
c. Have financial need
d. Be an active member of the military, be a veteran of the military, be a first-responder, or have parent(s) who was/were military or first-responders. Preference will be given to applicants who are military, veterans or whose parent(s) were military.
