Keith McDermott '81 Scholarship

This scholarship was established by friends and family of Keith McDermott ’81. Keith, who received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from SUNY Oswego, enjoyed a career in accounting and finance and is remembered for his work ethic, his commitment to his family and as a passionate friend and mentor to his colleagues. Keith had a strong desire to help others in his personal and professional life, including continuing a strong involvement with SUNY Oswego as a supporter and member of campus advisory boards. This scholarship supports SUNY Oswego School of Business students who demonstrate a commitment to community involvement and who show promise in the field of business. To qualify for this award, a student must:
a. Have a declared major in the School of Business. Preference will be given to finance majors.
b. Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.
c. Apply in freshman, sophomore or junior year, for an award to be received in the subsequent academic year.
d. Have shown a commitment to either community service or campus/community involvement.
e. Show promise in the field of business.
