Rewarding Excellence Amongst College Honors (R.E.A.C.H.) Scholarship

The women of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and the men of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. gave back to the college community in honor of the 2002 Return to OZ II Reunion. To qualify for this award, a student must:
a. Be a sophomore or junior (completed 27–86 credits, including transfer credits, by deadline),
b. Maintain a minimum SUNY Oswego GPA of 2.80,
c. Submit an essay demonstrating how the student has overcome a disadvantage or other impediment to succeed in higher education or Submit an essay describing how the student’s unique background, experiences, or perspective have shaped their approach to their studies or a club/program of involvement, and how the student has used that to benefit others in that community.
