Worzbyt Family Legacy Scholarship

The scholarship was established by Dr. John C. Worzbyt, EdD, LC ‘65, and Jean A. Vogelsperger Worzbyt ’67 in recognition of the Worzbyt family journey at Oswego, including Dr. Worzbyt’s mother, Audrey Edmunds Worzbyt ‘37, ’57. The scholarship supports Oswego in its mission to educate the next generation of quality teachers. To qualify for this award, a student must:
a. Be a declared major in the College of Education, Health and Human Services’ Curriculum and Instruction department (specifically Childhood or Adolescence Education teacher preparation programs)
b. Be a sophomore or junior at the time of application.
c. Maintain a 2.75 GPA
d. Have demonstrated financial need.
