Class of 1953 Memorial Scholarship

To commemorate their 50th anniversary the members, friends and relatives of the graduating class of 1953 established a scholarship in memory of those classmates who have passed on. This scholarship will be awarded in the spring to recognize an outstanding student in the School of Education who is committed to pursuing a career in teaching. To qualify for this award a student must:
a. Be a full time student in the School of Education pursuing a career in teaching
b. Be enrolled as a sophomore or junior (completed 27–86 credits, including transfer credits, by the end of this year’s winter session.)
c. Demonstrate promise and commitment to the field of education
d. Maintain a minimum 3.00 SUNY Oswego cumulative GPA
e. In addition, applicants must be nominated by a School of Education faculty member. Interested students should contact professors to have them submit an email of nomination by the deadline.
Note: This scholarship is renewable.
